This 'Bare Pili Nut Butter' is smooth, creamy, and tastes like tahini, but richer! The pili nut is the highest fat land lowest carb nut on the market. Therefore, adding any extra oils isn't needed, but if it pleases you add MCT oil! ! I prefer making my own nut butters so I can control what goes in them and having the nut butter be bare allows me to use it in a variety of applications. Keep in mind any nut in these amounts will do to make your own butter! Just make sure the skins are removed! Enjoy!

 380 g raw pili nuts
 ¼ tsp pink Himalayan sea salt (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Place pili nuts on a baking sheet and bake them for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool briefly for 10 minutes and then place in blender along with salt if using.

Place in a blender and blend until smooth scraping the sides occasionally. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
